The Bluebell Forest Scattering Tube is designed especially to help families who plan to scatter the remains of a loved one. This scattering urn is quite sturdy -- made of paper / cardboard. Overall, the cylinder with its pretty design is discreet as you walk a trail or board a boat to your desired scattering site. When ready to scatter, the lid slides off, a perforated tab is pushed, and then the ashes can be gently scattered from the tube. When all ashes have been scattered, the tube can be recycled.
