Description
The Butterfly Cloisonne Extra Small Urn for Ashes is an artistic cremation urn. Butterflies in gorgeous shades of rose, creamy white, and blue flutter against a background of leaves. The pretty design contrasts with a black background. A scalloped design in dark blue and gold encircles the edge of the lid and the neck of the urn.
 
This extra small size urn is made using cloisonne, an ancient art form invented by the French and perfected by the Chinese. Made from brass, copper and colored enamel, cloisonne is crafted by hand. The finished item is gilded. As a result of this meticulous process, every cloisonne piece is a beautiful and unique work of art. 
 
At 60 cubic inches, the Butterfly Cloisonne Extra Small Urn will hold the ashes of a person who weighed 60 pounds or less prior to cremation. The lid on this urn sits on top. It can be sealed with adhesive, but it does not close via threading.
