With a fitted sit-on-top lid and a lined bottom, whatever you choose to place inside will be protected. The box is handcrafted from solid mahogany wood and can be personalized. This memento box/keepsake urn could hold a collection of personal items -- from a watch to photos -- as a thoughtful memorial tribute. If you choose to place a small amount of ashes inside, the Concord Mahogany Keepsake Urn Box can be a reminder of a loved one at home after most of the ashes are scattered or laid to rest. 
 
The Concord Mahogany Keepsake Urn Box does have a footed base with small felt pads to protect surfaces. A memory box can be used to keep medals, photos, found items, jewelry and other souvenirs, or, alternatively, it can be used as a keepsake urn. This small wooden urn box can hold approximately 2/3 cup of ashes.
