The pendant opens via a threaded screw on the bail -- making it easy to fill and close securely.
Before the pendant is worn, the filling and sealing guide (included) should be followed. Once the ashes have been placed inside, the bail should be sealed using the adhesive provided. The manufacturer does not recommend wearing this piece while showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping due to increased exposure to moisture. Moisture can affect the adhesive that keeps the ashes secure inside the pendant.
