The Tyton Graystone Double Urn Vault - Mountain Forest stands out for its powerful ability to protect urns for ground burial. Durable and strong, the Tyton Graystone Double Urn Vault offers heavy walls and a heavy lid made of substantial plastic polymers. Brass bolts screw down and lock the lid to the base. This vault can hold two adult size cremation urns standing upright (see detailed dimensions below). You can be sure this container will not yield to the elements and will protect any items inside through the years.

 

The Tyton Graystone Double Urn Vault is gray in color and is meant to look like granite or stone. Two decorative plates are included and fit into recessed areas in the vault's lid. The plates have an embossed image of a forest with mountains behind.

 

Three additional brass nameplates -- that can be engraved with text of your choice -- are included. You can engrave a shared last name on one nameplate (which fits into the lid's center area) or a message such as "Rest in Peace." The two remaining nameplates can be engraved with names, dates, or your preferred text.

A brass bolt secures the lid to the base at each corner of the vault. Adhesive is included as an additional sealant between the lid and base. The polymer construction of the Tyton Graystone Double Urn Vault - Mountain Forest will not corrode when placed in the ground. This vault has been tested to withstand substantial weight and pressure when buried (up to 4080 lbf -- top load pressure).

 

The Tyton Double Urn Vaults meet the requirements of many cemeteries regarding the use of an urn vault to protect cremation urns being buried in the ground. Vaults are intended to protect urns from the elements as well as from possible damage from heavy grounds equipment (please check your cemetery requirements).

 

This vault for ground burial can hold two standard cylindrical adult cremation urns, one extra large cremation urn, or a combination of other styles and sizes of urns.
