Tyton Sandstone Double Urn Vault - Cross & Ray

The Tyton Sandstone Double Urn Vault - Cross & Ray is known for its durability and capacity. In terms of sturdiness, the Tyton Sandstone Double Urn Vault offers thick walls and a thick lid made of strong plastic polymers. Metal bolts made of brass lock down the lid to the base. This vault can hold two standard size cremation urns standing upright (see detailed dimensions below). You can be confident this container will not yield to the elements and will protect the items inside through the ages.

 

The Tyton Sandstone Double Urn Vault is designed to look like light brown stone. Two decorative plates in a Cross & Ray design fit into recessed areas in the vault's lid. Three additional brass plates -- that can be engraved with text of your choice -- are included. You can engrave a shared last name on one plate (which fits into the lid's center area) or a message such as "In Loving Memory." The two remaining brass plates can be engraved with names, dates, or your preferred text.

The polymer construction of the Tyton Sandstone Double Urn Vault will not corrode when placed in the ground. This vault has been tested to withstand significant weight and pressure when buried (Up to 4080 lbf -- top load pressure). At each corner, a brass bolt secures the lid to the base for tight closure. Adhesive is included as an additional sealant.

 

The Tyton Double Urn Vaults meet the requirements of many cemeteries regarding the use of an urn vault to protect a cremation urn and its contents from the elements as well as from possible damage from heavy grounds equipment (please check your cemetery requirements).

 

This vault for ground burial can hold two standard cylindrical adult cremation urns, one extra large cremation urn, or a combination of other styles and sizes of urns (see dimensions below).
